Autism Specialty Program at Douglas College - Information Update

ACT has received the following program information update from the program coordinator, Lori Woods, at Douglas College.

Applications are now being accepted for the full time pilot BI program Jan-April 2007 and the part time on-going BI program in Sept 2007. Please check with the Registrar Office for more information regarding on-line and in-person applications.

We have booked an Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) orientation and information session for existing Behavioural Interventionist practitioners who live in the Lower Mainland and would like to challenge some of the citation program courses. An online version of this session will be available in 2007 for interested practitioners that live in other areas of BC. Never-the-less, we'd like to hear from you now.

The PLAR session is Tuesday August 29th from 4:30-6:30 pm at Douglas College - New Westminster Campus, 700 Royal Avenue, Room 2223. Interested practitioners who have two years experience or more are encouraged to RSVP to woodsl@douglas.bc.ca
Once we receive your RSVP, we will email you a form that will assist us in determining PLAR eligibility. Please bring this completed form and an current resume to the session.

A detailed webpage will be available for those interested in all levels of course and programs sometime this fall.
