In March 2005, the Ministry of Children and Family Development published a guide titled " A Parent's Handbook: Your Guide to Autism Funding Programs". The handbook provides useful information about diagnosis and assessment, intervention services and the funding process. This booklet also includes information on the various funding payment options available, as well as which expenses are eligible for autism funding. If you have questions regarding eligible expenses you may contact MCFD directly at 1 (877) 777-3530.

If you are a parent or professional wanting to better understand the autism funding process, we invite you to speak with one of ACT's information officers. For your convenience, we can be reached by email at info@autismcommunitytraining.bc.ca or telephone at (604) 205-5467. If you are located outside of the Lower Mainland, please use our toll free number at 1-866-939-5188. For families requiring service and support in Mandarin or Cantonese, we have staff able to provide help.
